Cantrell – 1985 (Freestyle) Artist Spotlight Vol. 151 #Cantrell

Rarenorm: “Why did you make this song? What do you want to achieve in your music career? When did you start loving music and what are you creating next?”

I made this song as a part of a freestyle series I did during September. I had put out 2 EPs on the label and sort of wanted to get back to my roots of unloading on instrumentals and sort of simplify the process after being locked in for so long and touring/doing promo runs.

It’s hard to say what I would like to achieve in my music career. New goals get added each year, but as long as I can contribute to the culture, to the world, and inspire people along the way I guess I’m doing my job.

I’ve loved music ever since I could remember… from being 3 years old imitating Michael Jackson moves, to scavenging through my mama’s music collection soaking in people like Goodie Mob, Biggie, Outkast and more.

What I’m creating next is just more music. The music is the element that keeps this whole thing going. More music, more content for the people in hopes of getting my story across more.
