Ja Rule Apologizes for Fyre Festival Disaster, Says It Was “NOT A SCAM”

Fyre Competition, a new luxury fest owing to start in the Bahamas this weekend, was postponed this morning right after attendees reported a chaotic festival website. Now, festival co-creator Ja Rule has tackled the condition. In a notice on Twitter, which he states is not his formal statement, he writes, “We are functioning suitable now on getting everyone of [sic] the island Risk-free. That is my quick problem.” He adds, “I’m heartbroken at this instant. My partners and I needed this to be an remarkable occasion. It was NOT A Scam.” In addition to promising refunds, he continues, “I actually apologize as this is NOT MY FAULT… but I’m taking responsibility.
