Nick Cave and Warren Ellis Score New Netflix Film <i>War Machine</i>

Nick Cave and Warren Ellis (of the Bad Seeds and Grinderman) have a strong record of putting their new music to film, and they’ve included to that repertoire with still a further film rating. The pair have composed the soundtrack for the forthcoming Netflix film, War Device, a consultant for the artists verified to Pitchfork. Watch the film’s trailer below. Directed by David Michod, the film is the story of the increase and drop of a U.S. basic. It is primarily based on Michael Hastings’ 2012 e-book The Operators, and it stars Brad Pitt, Topher Grace, Emory Cohen, Tilda Swinton, Anthony Michael Corridor, and Ben Kingsley. It debuts Might 26.

In 2016, Cave and Ellis scored the film Hell or Significant Water. They also earlier composed the scores for 2015’s Far From Males and 2009’s The Street, both of those starring Viggo Mortensen.
