Scotty ATL Celebrates the Life of Bankroll Fresh on New Song "Thinkin Bout a Check"

On March 4, 2016 at age 28, Bankroll Fresh, a person of Atlanta’s most popular rappers at the time, was shot and killed outside of Road Execs Studios in his hometown. The unfortunate news of Bankroll’s death stunned the hip-hop local community to it’s core. A person calendar year later, fellow Atlanta spitta, Scotty ATL, celebrated the lifetime of Bankroll Fresh, with “Thinkin Bout a Look at,” which is one of the tracks on the mixtape that they had been performing on with each other prior to Bankroll handed. They recorded 10 plus songs with each other that are unreleased. The matter matter of the tune is very straightforward, income is always on their brain.

We spoke to DJ Pretty Boy Tank, a well-known Atlanta-primarily based DJ who partnered up with Bankroll, and Fresh’s mother Terisa Cost, about the late rapper and his legacy.
