Why did you make this song?
I made this song because I had to – I had to sit down and write what I was feeling so that I could understand myself and maybe gain some closure when it was finished.
What do you want to achieve in your music career?
At the end of the day, I just want to make people feel something – understood, loss, peace, joy. I think music, and all forms of art, are the most important things we have, and being able to create something from nothing is just incredible. I want to keep doing that forever.
When did you start loving music and what are you creating next?
I definitely loved music before I was even born – my whole family is musical, so even while my mom was pregnant with me she would sing to me or play piano. But growing up I always wanted music on, no matter where we were, and I always wanted it very loud.
What am I creating next? That’s the exciting thing I get to ask myself every day; it’s always about the next song or project and looking forward to what that may be.
Describe your sound.
My sound is soft, yet firm. Like the perfect mattress.
What do you enjoy most about being a musician?
I don’t think anyone in the world doesn’t wish they could play an instrument or be able to sing. Music is a universal language, and being able to create it, play it, and share it with other humans is absolutely beautiful.
