Future’s “Might as Well” Samples Arcade Fire and Owen Pallett

Future introduced his new self-titled album on Friday and a single of the standout tracks is “Might as Perfectly.” In a surprise twist, the song samples Arcade Fire and Owen Pallett’s “Owl,” which appeared on the soundtrack to Spike Jonze’s 2013 intimate sci-fi drama Her, as Arcade Fire Tube details out. Obtain the credit rating and each tracks underneath.

As previously documented, Future also incorporates the tune “High Desire,” in which Future raps, “We do a full lotta figures, yeah/Get on that pussy like Donald, yeah.” The lyric is in reference to lewd responses Donald Trump made about women of all ages, captured in a 2005 recording that was released in the guide-up to the election.
