Asos Accused of Ripping Off Indie Brand After Visiting Its Showroom [UPDATED]

Scroll down for updates to this put up.

Over the a long time, we have coated a great deal of rather egregious examples of style and design theft from rapid manner makes, but this one particular may well consider the cake: Asos has been accused of ripping off indie designer Laurie Lee Burley of Laurie Lee Leather-based immediately after viewing her showroom throughout London Trend Week.

Burley Instagramed a side-by-side comparison of her primary jacket, which is bought at Selfridges, with Asos’s knockoff, which in and of by itself is fairly damning. From the damaged heart to the block lettering and the lightning bolts, it’s a location-on (if not low-cost-wanting) duplicate of Burley’s handmade jacket, which retails for £599. “IMA JUST GONNA Go away THIS Listed here @asos and remind you that I keep in mind you coming to London Trend Week Designer Showrooms and photographing my things – which includes this pretty jacket that was on screen ,” Burley writes in her caption.
