Art a few months ago Share Tweet Pin Share Australian skincare brand Aesop has made the move into physical objects, with the release of its new solid brass oil burner. The new item is the label’s first ever design piece, and was created by long-time Aesop collaborator Studio Henry Wilson using an ancient technique of using wax moulds to cast metal objects. This technique was chosen for the way it gives every object its own character and brass patina. To celebrate the release of the oil burner, Aesop is also releasing its forth oil burner blend. Named Béatrice, the blend is a woody and citrus scent which features notes of Patchouli and Cedar Atlas. Both the oil burner and the blend are available now from the Aesop web store, with the burner priced at £120 GBP or $170 USD, while the oil is priced at £25 GBP or $39 USD.
