Los Angeles-based artist Geronimo, aka Jihan Zencirli, created a large-scale balloon installation for Manhattan’s Lincoln Center, produced in collaboration with the New York City Ballet as part of its Art Series.
The massive installation sees huge segments of large, brightly colored spherical spheres that float in space and hang on the facades of the building’s structure. Geronimo is the first female artist to be selected for the New York City Ballet Art Series, which is in its sixth year this year.
