Art a couple of months ago Share Tweet Pin Share The design talents at MVRDV have completed construction of The Imprint, a new 2-building complex of a nightclub and indoor theme park located in Seoul, South Korea. The Imprint’s two structures boast optical illusion-like architecture via warped exteriors and lifted entrance areas, giving the effect that the buildings are lifted like draped fabric. Although windowless, the two structures reflect the surrounding area’s building design styles with imprinted façades, giving the project its name The Imprint. The Imprint is part of the larger Paradise City complex, a 6-building entertainment and hotel attraction space located less than a kilometer away from Seoul’s Incheon Airport. For more entertainment spaces, EFFEKT turned a former windmill factory into a skatepark.
