The special series is comprised of two side tables and a dining table. All products boast heavy top plates that appear to float from their pointed bases. This is “achieved by tapering the top of the legs and the underside of the table,” said Nendo. “It gives the impression of weightlessness.” View the collection above and head over to Nendo’s website to learn more. Elsewhere in design, Centre Pompidou is set to launch a major retrospective on seminal Japanese architect, Tadao Ando. Bonus: Want to stay up to date on our latest Rare Norm news ?
