Best known for his industrial design, which is often seen as an influence on Apple‘s aesthetic, Dieter Rams also turned his hand to designing a handbag. The 931 handbag was designed by Rams in 1963 for his wife, although it never entered production. Now, though, the bag is available for the first time ever through a collaboration with TSATSAS.
The 931 is designed according to Rams’ classic “less is more” aesthetic and principles of good design. Coming in either black or concrete, the bag features a minimalist calf-skin leather exterior with a top a handle, detachable shoulder strap and blue lamb Nappa leather interior. Every bag is handcrafted in Germany and individually numbered. Head over to the TSATSAS web store to get your hands on the Dieter Rams-designed 931 bag.
