Fashion 6 months ago Share Tweet Pin Share With Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 fully underway, fledgling label HELIOT EMIL put together yet another evocative runway presentation for its latest collection of progressive utilitarian looks at the sartorial event. Titled “Referential Transparency,” the new range features an array of monochromatic looks and full women’s wear line, accented by various buckles, zippers and strapped layers. For SS19, label heads Julius and Victor Juul created a study of asymmetry in their reimagining of prominent military and sportswear codes. Like previous collections, distinctive hardware gave the collection an aggressive edge as dual lock carabiners, metal zip-ties and circle clips served as fasteners and adornments. Additionally, a choice collaboration with Asics highlighted reworked silhouettes that accompanied the outlandish garments in the featured showcase.
