REENO Studios Gives the Nike Air Force 1 the Pop Art Treatment

REENO Studios has just finished mocking up a pair of Nike Air Force 1 customs that are sure to please the art crowd. Paying homage to the late American pop artists Andy Warhol, the pair of Uptowns predominantly features the works: Campbell’s Soup Cans on the upper panels, and the Velvet Underground & Nico‘s banana album cover in the form of Nike‘s Swoosh logo.

Other details include Andy Warhol’s signature on the midfoot, while the lining and shoelaces see the colors pink and blue — all pointing to colors often seen in Warhol’s work. While this is still just a rendering, this mockup proves to be one of the better art-meets-AF-1 iterations we’ve seen to date.

In other footwear news, Derrick Rose debuts his 10th signature sneaker from adidas.
