Fashion a few months ago Share Tweet Pin Share Bangkok-based label TAKARA WONG is back with another set of visuals, this time aimed at the Pre-Fall 2018 season. As a worthy followup from its FW18 “Beautiful Derelict” presentation, the new lookbook titled “CONSENTED/UNCONSENTED,” explores sexuality through the expressive art form of Shibari — the taboo practice of erotic bondage originating from Japan. Noted rope artist Phetcharada Pacharee was brought in, applying her craft on a set of models, who were then snapped by renowned photographer Kachain Wongleamthong. The provocative photo series makes its way onto the collection wares, showcased as patch-style imagery, portraits pics and background canvasses on everything from lightweight outerwear, T-shirts, hoodies and trousers. TAKARA WONG’s Pre-Fall 2018 collection is currently available online and will later make its way to Kachain Wongleamthong’s upcoming exhibit, running from August 9 – August 26 at YELO House.
