2. Chicken Tortilla Soup

Sometimes the day calls for a warm bowl of soup for dinner. This recipe is the perfect solution and an easy one. What do you need? Chicken, beans, taco mix, salsa and some chicken broth is all! Follow the chef at IHaveAFutureAndAHope on all the measuring specifics, and feel free to add cheese or avocado on top (we know, that’s technically 2 more ingredients!).

3. Crockpot Chili

Everyone needs a great chili recipe in their repertoire, and this one is award winning so definitely worth a try! Your ingredients are lean ground beef, diced tomatoes, creamed corn, tomato soup and green chilis. The only real preparation calls for browning the meat before throwing everything together in the crock pot (although I have to admit I’ve made chili a zillion times by just throwing the raw meat in- it cooks just fine!).
