Named the Guntû after small local blue crabs, the ship boasts 19-rooms and magnificient views of the sea and surrounding moutains. Designed by Yasube Horibe as a floating “ryokan” or traditional Japanese inn, the boat sees a clean, wood-laden interior. The main dining room offers both Japanese and Western dishes while a small sushi counter also included serves freshly caught seafood. At the moment, guests can choose from six different routes around the Seto Inland Sea. Bonus: Want to stay up to date on our latest Rare Norm news ? Take a look at the floating hotel above.
