No Shave November, otherwise known as Movember, is a month-long campaign backed by NoShave.org, a web based non-profit that encourages men all around the world to participate in a month long journey of embracing their hair and going unshaved.
The main point of the Movember is not only to grow a super dope beard (for those who can) that will have the ladies swooning, but also to raise awareness about some of the biggest health issues men face such as Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Poor Mental Health, and Physical Inactivity. Participants or No Shave November are encouraged to donate the money they would have otherwise used for grooming products to a charitable organization that raises awareness and support these health issues men face. The code of conduct for Movember is very simple:
- No shaving for the month of November
- No trimming, no waxing
- Donate to a cause with your grooming money
If you don’t where to start, here are some websites through which you can donate your money:
For the month of November Rare Norm will be running a campaign on the website to help raise awareness about men’s health issues. For all Movember participants, Rare Norm will be doing a giveaway at the end of the month. More to come!
