‘Attack on Titan’ Manga Final Panel Revealed

'Attack on Titan' Manga Final Panel Revealed

Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan is entering its final arc in the manga, and a draft of the final panel in the series was shown on a Japanese television program over the weekend. Isayama was recently featured on the Japanese show Jonetsu Tairiku, where it showcased the various Attack on Titan art still in progress. The show also featured interviews with his editor Shintaro Kawakubo and his parents.

The occasion also highlighted Isayama observing the television anime’s dialogue recording sessions and giving input to the voice cast. The episode announced the manga was entering its final arc, which lines up with what Kawakubo said in a 2014 interview about the serialization ending in three to four years. The image appears to show a character, presumably protagonist Eren, holding a baby and saying “You’re Free.” Isayama launched the Attack on Titan manga in 2009, which inspired an anime series in April 2013, of which is currently slated to resume its third season next year.

Check out the panel below and share your thoughts.
