HBO Confirms ‘Game of Thrones’ Reunion Special

HBO confirms that a Game of Thrones reunion special is on the way. During filming of the final season, HBO assembled former cast members from previous years, including Sean Bean (Ned Stark), for a reunion that will be released next year, but only on the series’ Blu-ray set.

HBO states this special will be exclusive to the complete series home video set, which is slated to arrive sometime next year after season 8 finishes, similar to what the network did with The Sopranos. The special is not slated to appear on the HBO channel or either of its apps, HBO Go and HBO Now. It’s speculated that Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo), who was in Belfast earlier this year, may appear in the special. However, he’s been known to visit the set as a fan and friend of the show.

Check out the special when the home video set releases sometime next year, and peep this adidas UltraBOOST “House Lannister”  debuting sometime in 2019 as well.
