Sports 3 years ago Share Tweet Pin Share After 15 years as the Red Sox announcer Don Orsillo signed off as the Sox season has come to a close. Orsillo has been a fan favorite for many years and has been through it all. Three world series championships, Jon Lester’s no-hitter, the many walk offs by David Ortiz, and of course the funny moments he would share with his partner Jerry Remy. During the last RedSox home game Orsillo received a desrving heart warming applaud from the fans. It is a dissapointment to know that Orsillo and NESN could not come to a mutual agreement on the contract, however there is no doubt he will find a new home. The important thing is that Orsillo will be forever remembered in the hearts of Red Sox nation and that fans will always admire his professionalism, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. Don Orsillo has proven to be a wonderful friend, great coworker, great family man, and sincere human being. May he have the best of luck on his future.
