After 16 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, Manu Ginobili is officially hanging up his jersey for good. The crafty lefty announced his retirement from the NBA via Twitter in a heartfelt message to his fans, family, friends, Spurs teammates, coaches and staff. Considered by many as the man that brought the euro-step to the hardwood, Ginobili also helped the Spurs win four NBA Championships – he is also a two-time All-Star and sixth man of the year award-winner in 2008. IMMENSE GRATITUDE to everyone (family, friends, teammates, coaches, staff, fans) involved in my life in the last 23 years. It’s been a fabulous journey. Way beyond my wildest dreams. pic.twitter.com/3MLCUtmd6K — Manu Ginobili (@manuginobili) August 27, 2018
