In sports news today it seems the Miami dolphins head coach has been terminated! After their 1-3 start the dolphins decided to kick Philbin to the curve. Philbin did not have a winning season with the dolphins in his three year rain and it was a tough decision on the organization to let him go. Dolphins owner Stephen Ross stated “This was a tough decision for me to make knowing how tirelessly Joe worked in his four years here to make this a winning team, He is a man of the highest character and integrity that I developed a close personal relationship with.”

Another coach that has been dismissed recently has been Matt Williams of the Washington Nationals. His inability to get the team going was the reason for this action. Its starting to look like its my time to enter the league with all the coaches that are getting fired!

KB 24 was back on the floor in a preseason lost to the Jazz. Its been about  9 months since the superstar had been out there and he said it felt “Pretty Good”. Regardless of his first shot hitting the side of the backboard its good to see Kobe back on the floor. Bryant is entering his 20th season with the Lakers, an NBA record for the most seasons a player has spent with one team. It’s also the final season of his deal with the team, during which he’ll be paid a league-high $25 million.

Soccer Top headline:

Arsenal beats Manchester united in a well deserved win. Going up a quick 2-0 and then scoring another with in 20 minutes. There are still those who see Arsenal as Manchester City’s stiffest opposition for the Premier League title this season. You can see where they’re coming from. Chelsea have too much ground to make up; Manchester United look at least a year away, and their struggles in Europe might even be a blessing in disguise when it comes to domestic success.
