Sports 6 months ago Share Tweet Pin Share Joining a list of NBA players who believe the moon landing was forged is Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors guard recently admitted that he doesn’t believe humans have ever been to the moon. On the new Ringer podcast Winging It, hosted by Vince Carter and Kent Bazemore, teammates Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala stopped by for a chat. During the podcast Curry produces a rather outlandish question, asking the group “We ever been to the moon?” with Iguodola and Carter both replying “No,” before Steph had a chance to reply with “They’re gonna come get us because I don’t think so either.” It’s difficult to discern who “they” are or what Curry really means with his reply. N.A.S.A. spokesman Allard Beutel responded to Curry’s comments, stating that “We’d love for Mr. Curry to tour the lunar lab at our Johnson Space Center in Houston, perhaps the next time the Warriors are in town to play the Rockets.” This isn’t the first time an NBA player has developed some questionable scientific theories. In 2017, Kyrie Irving attempted to clear up his flat Earth comments by claiming it was an “exploitation tactic” meant to test audiences’ reactions, later returning to the theory by claiming that there is “no real picture of the Earth.” For more NBA-related news, be sure to check out the NBA-inspired Timberland x Mitchell & Ness 6-Inch Boots.
